Pre-requisite Courses

The five foundational courses in Jewish roots are required for completion of the Master of Religious Education in Middle Eastern History Degree. Students having graduated from the American Institute's Bachelor's program will have already completed these courses and are eligible for enrollment in the Master's program.

These courses are as follows:

Jewish Culture I*
Jewish Culture II*
Jewishness of Jesus*
Introduction to Jewish Roots*
Messianic Concepts of the First Century*


If you have not taken these foundational courses, please apply using the Bachelor's application HERE. Once you have completed these foundational courses, you will be ready to enter the Master's program and may use this form to continue your enrollment.


All applicants must send:

    1. A recent photograph (for your student file).
    2. Three letters of reference.
    • school or work (A reference letter from someone with whom you attend school or with whom you work, sent by the referrer.)
    • church(A reference letter from some with whom you attend church, sent by the referrer.)
    • personal(A reference letter from some with whom you are personally acquainted, sent by the referrer.)
    3. A check or money order for the application fee and appropriate tuition and materials fees for each class.
